Kirin Capital and Monster Studio discussed the Vietnamese game industry’s development trends

On February 16, the team in charge of Kirin Capital Vietnam’s Game Fund Project, led by Mr. Simon Yu – Executive Director, visited Monster Studio and discussed the development trends in the Vietnam gaming industry.

Mr. Pham Quang Phuc, General Director of Monster Studio (2nd from the right), welcomed the Kirin Capital team appreciatively.

Monster Studio is one of four studios under Onesoft,  Vietnam’s leading mobile app development company. With its strength in producing and publishing mobile games, Monster Studio aims to build a game ecosystem on mobile platforms, contributing to the globalization of the Vietnamese gaming industry.

At Monster Studio, the two parties discussed the emerging trends in Vietnam’s gaming industry, particularly the gamification trend (applying games in other fields such as education, health, media, etc.). Kirin Capital Vietnam assessed that this trend has the ability to expand in the years ahead, as user demand for new and engaging experiences rises. Besides, the two sides also emphasized the current need for financial investment in game companies.

After the discussion, the two businesses came to a consensus regarding the issues facing Vietnamese game developers and proposed potential solutions, as well as vowed to promote in-depth conversations and partnerships shortly.
