With the desire to contribute to and promote the startup and innovation ecosystem, on the afternoon of August 7, 2023, Kirin Capital participated in the “Creative Knowledge Connection – Kick-off of Design Thinking Village – Techfest Vietnam 2023” event held at the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC).
The Design Thinking Village was established with the goal of creating an environment that fosters collaboration among key players in the startup ecosystem—including businesses, researchers, experts, coaches, investors, and government agencies—by inspiring connections through programs such as MegaCity Connect and MegaUniversity Connect.
Following the establishment of the Southern Design Thinking Village (on August 4, 2022), the Northern Design Thinking Village was officially launched during this event.
Alongside guests from various TechFest Vietnam technology villages, leaders of innovation centers and institutes from universities, and heads of national startup support centers, Kirin Capital participated in a range of meaningful activities. These included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the TechFest Vietnam Marketing Technology Village.
As an investment firm focused on the Vietnamese market and dedicated to supporting the growth of Vietnamese enterprises, Kirin Capital joined the event with the desire to serve as a bridge between startups, young entrepreneurs, and abundant international resources.
